Applications
- Used to treat expansion joints and separation joints between concrete elements, slabs or walls.
Advantages
- Fire-rated, sealed against hot gases and fumes, thermal insulation for 2 hours (EI 120).
- Very high performance. JOINTAFEU 20 underwent a 20% elongation (i.e. a 4 mm gap) before testing, and obtained the same result as without displacement in the fire test.
- Tested in accordance with EN 1366-3 (Conforms to the decree of 22 March 2004, modified by that of 14 March 2011).
- Test certificate n° RS08-029 dated 03 June 2018 issued by the CSTB.
- Exceptional durability. Mechanical resistance tested by IFP, more than 15000 compression / decompression cycles.
- Adapts to building movements, such as: seismic, façade, expansion from -20° to +60°C.
- Resistant to hydrocarbons (suitable for car parks).
- No mastic is required to ensure the fire resistance. Can be installed on damp surfaces or in the rain. Guaranteed free of halogenated or fibrous derivatives (asbestos, rock wool, etc.).
